My OC, Ruby Mist. I'm trying to stay canon with her, so I removed everything non-canon from her. I will alter her if any new episode make her original features canon (Sweet and Elite made her original body shape canon).

Her mane is stupidly long because MY hair is stupidly long. Her cutiemark is a magic war horn for my Norse Tradition. It wouldn't make any sense in the show, but it's a very important symbol for me.
She is thin because I am thin. Her height represents my feelings towards the fandom, since I (alright, "we the bronies") am way older then the target audience.
Aaaand she is a unicorn. I believe it would be way better to be a pegasus than an unicorn (because FLYING), but a unicorn suits me better (because MAGIC).

It means a LOT to me, really. I see colourful, creative an unique OCs all around Deviant Art and I don't thin Ruby Mist is anywhere near them. She is pretty common. That's why it feels my heart with glee every time someone compliments her!

Lulz, I totally agree, and she's a unique pony! Believe me, what really stood out about her for me was her long flowing red hair.

And I really love the idea for a Norse symbol. I love to study mythologies/religions and Norse, Greek, and Egyptian are my favorites.
